Further Information: Elongated shell (normally 4-5.5cm) which varies in colour from grayish brown to reddish orange-brown. Snail vivid red. Endemic of the Mediterranean sea. Rather common in Malta where it lives at coastal habitats. Specimen photographed from Gozo. |
